Yesterday, we enjoyed creating mosaic tiles which show lines of symmetry. This morning, we had a delicious breakfast of croissants with cheese and ham. Today's activities were aqueducts and onagers. First, the children created the onager and got to use them to fire ping-pong balls at Miss Thurston. We learned that onager was the Roman name for Mule. We then went outside to build aqueducts. The children had to work together to make a structure that could transport water up hill. We had a lunch of rolls, oranges, raisins and crisps before heading on the coach home. The children were very tired and lots of them had a sleep on the coach.
