Little Acorns- Today we are going to be matching numbers to 'how many'. Your job is to put house numbers in order and then post the matching number of people.
You can ask your parents to print the document below or you could build some houses out of toy bricks, number them and put the matching number of people inside each house.
Make sure you count carefully and see if you can remember what each number looks like.
Big Acorns- Today we are going to learn how to double a number. If you double it means you get the same amount again. We are going to be doing this by printing.
Fold a piece of paper in half. On one side of the paper paint a number of dots. To double the number fold the 2 sides of paper together and press down firmly. Open the paper up and you will have double the number of spots.
What is double: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10?
