Last week in school Big Acorns were learning how to count groups of 2's, 5's and 10's. We found out that these are quicker ways of counting to big numbers.
Please recap counting in 2's, 5's and 10's. You might like to use the song clips below to help. Or you can group objects and count them.
Remember to whisper or say the other numbers in your head. You can then shout each of the numbers that show we are counting in 2's, 5's or 10's
e.g. 1,2,3,4, 5, 6,7,8,9, 10 ,11, 12, 13, 14, 15
You could also follow the 100 square link to mark off the numbers that we say as we count in 2's, 5's and 10's. Can you spot any patterns?

You can put socks in pairs and use these to count in 2's
