Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

Our lovely school!

Good morning children,

I hope you all had a great weekend and managed to spend some time doing lots of fun and exciting things.

I was in school on Friday with some children and couldn't help but notice how lovely school looked. I'm sure you can remember some of your favourite memories from recent times when looking through the pictures.

I am in a meeting at 10am today for at least an hour so won't be able to answer some of your questions. Do try and help each other out during this time. Lots of you are very good at this and happily explain a concept when we are in the classroom.

If you want to book a face-to-face meeting with me to go over a few things, then please email and I will get back to you on a time. I've already had a few meetings with some of you and it was really nice to be able to chat to you and your parents.

Have a great day and hopefully see you soon

Mr Stevens

Today, you will be carrying on with your persuasive writing on whether Henry VIII was a good king or not. I have put some introductions on the PowerPoint so you can magpie some of the ideas into your own work as well as an example that I have written.
This week, we are carrying on with our work on Fractions. Y5's, you are looking at number sequences today involving fractions. Y6's, you will be putting fractions onto a number line today. Knowing equivalent fractions and converting improper fractions to mixed numbers will be important today.
