Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

In English this term, we are going to be reading the story the HodgeHeg. It would be great if you can get your own copy of this book or a copy on kindle. This week, we will be focusing on story writing. We will start my describing different parts of the story and characters before rewriting the story. Today, we will be looking at where the hedgehogs live and describing what they like to eat.

In Maths, we will be concentrating on place value this week. Today, we will be counting forwards and backwards from 100. There are two online activities today. On both activities you can choose how challenging it is by raising the number that you count to.

On a Monday, we would normally do circle time in the morning as it is a nice way to start the week. This term, we will be thinking about relationships in circle time, starting with our family. I have put the Powerpoint on Monday morning instead of a phonics session. You can of course rearrange your timetable and do circle time at a different time or on a different day.

Have a lovely day,
