Red Nose Day 2022
It’s that time of year again – time to start thinking of others and our School Council have come up with a great idea to help others by helping ourselves!
It was around the New Year when they thought about making resolutions to make our lives better and decided that it would be amazing to….
‘LIVE a better life to GIVE a better life’
Buckland School Council would like children (and parents!) to pledge to do something that will make their life better: eat more vegetables, tidy bedrooms, help around the house and anything else you can think of. Get someone in your family to pledge to donate £1 to Comic Relief if you manage to keep your pledge going until Friday March 18th, Red Nose Day!
Just fill in our pledge sheet and stick it somewhere in your house to remind you that you are ‘Living a better life to give a better life.’ Then just bring your pledge money to school on March 18th when our School Council will run fun activities to celebrate your achievements!
Red Nose Day
Fun Run For Parents
Friday 18th March
12:00pm start at the school gate
In addition to our fun activities for children, we shall be holding a lunch-time Fun Run around Buckland for any parents that would like to join us. Mrs Josie Miller, who has recently joined the Buckland staff team and is busy working on some super plans for Buckland sports activities, is a very experienced run leader and will be joining us to raise money on Red Nose Day. The children will be there to cheer runners on and School Council members will have buckets to collect donations!
