Today we are going to be doing our weekly Big Read activities.
Little Acorns- Please choose 1 of the activities listed below:
Share one of your favourite books and think about who else might enjoy it and why. You could then recommend or suggest it to someone else. You might like to do this by drawing a picture of the book or recording a video telling us about the book and why we might enjoy it.
think about what the best bits are and why you enjoy it
think about why someone else might enjoy it too
Remember to send any recommendations to Miss Hatton so I can share with the rest of the group: KHat3723@buckland.oxon.sch.uk
We have all now changed the story of the Jolly Postman and used our words and actions to re-tell our own version of the story. Please now respond creatively to your new version of the story. You might like to:
Build a model of one of the houses the Jolly Postman visits
Bake a gingerbread house
Hold your own tea party like Goldilocks
Dress up and role play the new part of the story
Big Acorns- Please choose one of Little Acorn's activities and also complete the activity below.
Please read an Oxford Owl story online (It is free to use but your adult will need to sign up). You could try reading the Read Write Inc scheme books which focus on the sounds we have been learning or this week you could try a different set of books...it is your choice!
