Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

Good morning children,

I hope you are all well.

Today you will be writing the introduction to your persuasive writing on Henry VIII and assessing your understanding of fractions, decimals and percentages in English and Maths respectively.

A remember that it is important to not stay on the computer too long during the school day. Make sure you have small breaks during the day, like we do in school. It is important to use this time at home to exercise and learn new skills. I know some of you have been doing this on a regular basis.

If any of you are stuck today, remember to email myself or speak to Mrs Cox and I on Teams. We will help you as quickly as we can. As well as replying to your messages, I have a lot of things to do during the day so please be patient if you don't get response straight away. It might mean solving the problem yourself or trying that activity later in the day once you have posted your message.

Enjoy the day and hopefully see you soon

Mr Stevens

Today, you will start to write the introduction of your persuasive writing on Henry VIII. Use your template to support your writing. I have written an introduction on the PowerPoint that you could magpie if you get stuck. I'm sure your ideas will be better than mine!

If you are proud of your work, you could take a picture of your introduction and put it on Teams for all to see. That way, you are modelling your work - just like we do in class.

Today, you will be answering questions on fractions, decimals and percentages. If you are not confident on answering the questions yet, try the fraction decimal and percentage activity on MyMaths. It is in the fraction section towards the bottom of the page. Let me know if you can't find it.

If you finish early, you may want to set a question on Teams for all to solve.
