Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

Good morning children,

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's learning - it's our last week of online learning before half term.

As some of you may have saw from Ms Warren's email to parents, teachers always like to see children's work so please remember to send your work to me. I enjoy reading your work as well as suggesting ways to improve it. It was nice to be able to read lots of work yesterday.

Enjoy the day

Mr Stevens

Today, you will finish writing your persuasive writing about Henry VIII. Read the examples (from your friends) that I have put on the PowerPoint to improve your work from yesterday first. Then, write your conclusion before sending it to me. On Wednesday and Thursday, you will be writing your work into neat. I will put an assignment folder on Teams on Wednesday morning for you to submit.
Today, we will carry on with our focus on Fractions. However, I would like you not just to write the answer but explain how you get to the answer. Nationally, children find it hard to articulate their thoughts using mathematical vocabulary even if their arithmetic is very strong. Let's see who is up for the challenge!
