Just like before Easter, here are both the videos of the sounds that we have learned.

The first one is a recap of all the sounds the second one is your task:

How many of the sounds do you remember?

Make a list of all the sounds that you have forgotten and make some words for those sounds. Sort your words into real and alien words.

Challenge: write sentences with your real words.

Parents- It would be great if you could email me the sounds that your child has forgotten so that I can work them in during this term.

Phonics should be up to 30 minutes.

Today in our grammar lesson, we will be recapping full stops, capital letters, exclamation marks and question marks.

There are two activities, you can choose which one you would prefer.

Grammar and spelling lesson should only be up to 30 minutes long.

In English, we will be continuing the story of the Hodgeheg by Dick King Smith. Yesterday, we read chapter 1 and describe the animals in the garden and the park that the hedgehogs enjoy eating. Today, we will be stepping into Max's shoes. We will be reading chapter 2, acting out the part when Max goes out onto the street and then writing down Max's experience.
In Maths, we will continue to recap our place value and number knowledge. Today we will be writing numbers in both words and numerals. I have attached 3 different activities, a game that you may like to play and a word mat to help you with the spelling.

I have set up a class login for oxford owl. This will allow you to select books that are at an appropriate level for each reading.

I have suggested a theme that you read.

Parents - you may want to have a look and choose a book that you think is most suitable.
