Hi Acorns

I hope you are having a good week. I know being Stay Home Superheroes is tricky but try hard to be Have a go Herb's and Don't give up Donald's. I know you can do it!

I am having some technical issues with the website today so the suggested activities are set out a little differently below. I hope parents can still access everything.

Have a good day,

Topic- Today we are going to be leaning about Easter. Parents please work through the Easter Story powerpoint with your child.

Then you might like to make an Easter craft.

Phonics Little Acorns- Today we are going to explore making sounds with our bodies. This is called body percussion. Parents please help your child to work through the powerpoint. They could even try to make a 'score' for siblings to follow.

Phonics Big Acorns- Today we are going to learn another digraph. Parents please help your child to work through the powerpoint (including listening to my audio clips).

Mark Making Little Acorns- Please explore making marks with different tools. You could use pens, pencils, wax crayons, paint, water and brushes or chalks. Below are some Easter marks that you might like to try.

Super Sentence Big Acorns- Please spend time pracitsing your WOW words today. Remember that you must be able to read the words by sight and write the words from memory before moving onto the next set of words.

You could even write a super sentence with some of your WOW words in.
