Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

Good morning children,

I hope you all enjoyed working yesterday. The weather was lovely - I hope you managed to spend some time outside. It might be a good idea to do some learning outside today as it's even hotter.

A reminder that there are lots of Topic activities for you to try today and for the rest of this week.

Enjoy the day...it's going to be a hot one!

Mr Stevens

Today, you will start to write your persuasive writing about Henry VIII. I was really impressed with the work that you sent me yesterday. Some fantastic examples of Henry VIII being a good or bad king. For those of you that started writing on computer, you will have a head start over the children that have written their work on paper. This does mean I expect your work to improve dramatically though as you have more time to edit and polish your work. You will notice the assignment is now on Teams. Please send it to me on Thursday and not today.

Today, we move onto a different focus with fractions. Y5's, you will be ordering and comparing fractions less than 1. Y6's, you will be comparing and ordering fractions that are less than and greater than 1.

For those of you that finish your work early, you can try an activity that I have attached below.
