You can choose what you want to draw this week. Please draw a picture of either:
your weekend news
your visit to school and outdoor learning session with Miss Hatton
You might like to use some of the marks or the sound mat below. Remember to add lots of detail and ask your adult to scribe what you say about your picture.
Challenge: You could even challenge yourself and see if you can hear and write the first sound in each word on your picture e.g. mmm mummy, ddd daddy.
Or you could ask your parents to write a sentence about your picture and you could copy their writing underneath!
After the summer holidays Little Acorns will be coming back to school as Big Acorns. Normally we would spend lots of time finding out more and talking about being a Big Acorn. But we can't do this at the moment.
Parents please spend some time supporting your child to either:
draw a picture of what they are looking forward to about coming back to school as a Big Acorn.
write any comments or questions that they might have about being a big acorn (the children could add a picture to your writing or make their own marks too!)
Please send your pictures, comments and questions to Miss Hatton and I will try my best to answer them: KHat3723@buckland.oxon.sch.uk
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
