Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

Sports Day

It would have been Sports Day today (Monday) in school but sadly we are not able to run it. I know all of you would have represented Oak well in the morning by supporting the younger children in their activities and running of the event before trying your best in the afternoon yourselves. Mrs Langley-Smith has created a PowerPoint full of ideas for you to try at home. Send your pictures in and I will add them to the folder.
This week, you will investigate the reasons why Henry VIII broke with Rome, and make a judgement on the most significant cause of the English Reformation.

I know lots of you have enjoyed Computing this term. This week, you will be using formulas to calculate totals and averages. As an extension, you will also add to the existing data.

This is the third and final lesson in a three-week project so send me your work when you have finished. There are lots of examples on the PowerPoint of the work that you have sent me so do have a look if you get stuck.

Our theme this term is Electricity. Above is a website full of interactive activities that will broaden your understanding of how electricity works.
Mrs Bunting has another fun French activity for you to try this week.
Mrs Bunting will add Music activities onto the Charanga website each week.
