School Report Writing

As well as doing the reading sessions in the morning, it's vitally important that you continue to read a book for pleasure in your own time. Above are a set of activities to develop your reading skills.

Please do as much PE as possible this week. It is important we stay fit and healthy during this time. I have kept the Joe Wicks PowerPoint available to you but I am sure you are all doing different things as part of your PE lessons. Below are a list of activities which you could try:

Joe Wicks:

Yoga with Adriene:

Dancing with Oti Mabuse:

These websites have lots of good ideas and learning videos for you to do associated with Youth Sport Trust:

You may also want to play some games in the garden (Tennis, Cricket, Rounders), go for a run where you live or go on a bike ride. The list is endless!

Sir Walter Raleigh, a famous person from the Tudor era, was a man who liked to explore the world. For the last few weeks of term, we are going to find out about different countries in North and South America that Raleigh may or may not have visited. This week's focus switches to South America. You will locate South American countries (and capital cities) on a map, find out about the continent's population and climate and design a fact sheet about a country from this region.
The focus for this week is budgeting for a party. You will need Excel on your computer/tablet to support your learning. By the end of the lesson, you should be able to calculate totals based on price and quantity of items, calculate a running total and work out what is remaining from a budget. Have fun!

Our theme for this term is 'Can we know what God is like?'

I think you will enjoy the activities planned this week.

Mrs Bunting has another fun activity for you to try in French
Mrs Bunting will add Music activities onto the Charanga website each week.
