As a small rural village school, our role within the community is vital and mutually rewarding. We regularly attend the community lunch, where our children sometimes perform and we welcome local residents to school events such as our Nativity, Harvest Service, Summer fête and Music concert. Members of the community frequently visit the school to share their life experiences and interests with the children. We are also visited weekly by members of the community who lead our Open the Book initiative.
