This is achieved when a pupil meets all the Early Learning Goals (ELGs) in the prime areas of learning.

National 2024/25 = 69% pupils met a GLD

KS1 Y2 Teacher assessments

At Key Stage 1, children are assessed by their teacher using daily classwork, observations and regular checks in reading, writing and maths. There are no longer national SATs tests at this stage. Science is also assessed by the teacher and is reported as either meeting the expected standard or not yet meeting it.

KS2 Y6 SATs

Reading, mathematics, and spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPaG) are assessed through test results. Writing is assessed through teacher assessment, while science is teacher assessed as either meeting or not meeting the national standard.
