Pupils began their exciting trip by arriving in Dorchester, where they enjoyed their own packed lunches before meeting their tutor. They explored fascinating historical sites, including a Roman Town House and Maiden Castle, bringing their classroom learning to life. After travelling to Hooke Court and settling in, the day ended with an engaging evening session all about the life of a Roman soldier, helping pupils understand what it was like to live in Roman times.
