Oak had an excellent fire safety workshop, thanks to Niah's Dad. The children now know that the ‘triangle of fire’ is a combination of fuel, heat and oxygen. A video was also shown to the class when a match, that had been lit, had been left down the side of the sofa. The fire service recommend that we test our smoke alarms on ‘Test it Tuesday’ - hopefully they have shared this with you. The children have also been asked to design a fire evacuation plan for their own home. Thank you to Niah's Dad for delivering the session to the children.
