  Based on our Yr 6 SATS results for last year (2018) we can report that we were 18th in the country placing us in the top 1% of primary schools nationally.  

• NSPCC Number Day Quiz

  Children can complete the quiz appropriate for their age - one for Acorns and Beech the other for Sycamore and Oak.  Entries can be dropped into the office along with a £1 entry fee which will be donated to the NSPCC.

  Writing a Lost in the Snow story, a snow poem, a What is Snow explanation or fact page
  Write a letter to your teacher to tell them about your snow day.
  Write about the visit you went on with your class this week.
  Find 10 new words that you didn't know before and write what they mean
  Play some board games together which involve numbers - It's NSPCC number day today.
  And enjoy a snowy walk together, if you can

• Snow Closure

  Given the current weather conditions and forecast we have made the decision to close the school on Friday, 1st February.   The school and surrounding area have a significant amount of snow on the paths and approach roads and for safety reasons, this seems to be the most appropriate action.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused. 
  We anticipate to be open on Monday and look forward to seeing the children then.
