We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities which prove to be extremely popular with the children. We encourage all children to take part in at least one enrichment activity as we believe it inspires learning, offers challenge and is an important part of emotional and social personal development.
Recent activities include: Football, Netball, Athletics, Choir, Arts and Crafts, Lego, Tennis and Science club.
A programme is created each term for children to choose from. Some activities are free, whilst others are provided through external companies and are booked and paid for directly. All external providers are quality assured by school staff and safeguarding expectations are the same as for everyone working in our school.
The vast majority of activities are available for all children and we can subsidise any child wishing to take part in a paid for activity. From time to time, there are activities which offer opportunities for children to compete or perform at a high level and in these circumstances fair selection criteria are applied.
