We have had an amazing day at Millets Farm Falconry centre. We started the day learning about some of the birds of prey they have at the centre and looking at some of them. After that, we got to hold a bird called Jill. Everyone was very brave and either held the bird or went up and stood very close to it! We then went to see a flying demonstration where some of the birds flew so close and fast over our heads that they nearly touched us! After lunch, we got to sketch some of the owls. One of our favourite owls were the snowy ones. Finally we watched our second flying demonstration where we saw an owl and two birds flying at once!
