On Wednesday 24th January, the Year 3s went to a DT workshop at FCC. We learnt about plastic and were surprised to find out that it is made from oil, water, oxygen and salt. The children designed their own maze games, they watched as plastic sheets were moulded to fit around their designs and then sealed them closed with glue. They were very pleased with their creations! We enjoyed visiting FCC and seeing all of the equipment they use in the DT department - a fun trip out!
