Oak class had a great workshop from Science Oxford this morning. The children considered how different birds can be suited to living in different places and learnt how scientists such as Charles Darwin developed their ideas on evolution using careful observations of plants and animals in different parts of the world.
There was a fun and engaging activity about imaginary ducks to introduce the theory of natural selection. Oak class enjoyed the 'Clippy Island' activity - hopefully they can share the excitement of the workshop with you.
