Buckland

Church of England Primary School

Small school, big hearts. Wise, Responsible and Kind like the Good Samaritan.

Day 3 dawned a lot less sunny and a lot windier! The wind had been howling all night but the children slept soundly all the way through. We had some breakfast and then made some Roman onegars (catapults), which were promptly fired at myself - their aim improved after a few tries and the helmet almost came in handy! After some lunch and tidying up, we returned home a very exhausted, but happy group.

It has been a real privilege to spend these busy, exciting, wonderful days with Sycamore class - all of the adults who have supported the class have been impressed with your listening skills, your resilience and your eagerness to learn. It has been wonderful to see all of you grow during these few but intense days and to have the opportunity to challenge yourselves and feel real success in overcoming any worries or concerns and to feel a real sense of achievement. You have been brilliant - well done Sycamore!
