Oak class have had a really good start to their residential week.
After arriving at Woodlands, the children took all their items into their bedrooms and started to unpack. Lots of teamwork on show, in particular with bed sheets!
With their loaned kit sorted for the week, they went straight into groups to solve a range of fun activities. It was so nice to see loads of children encouraging their friends and working as a team to solve the activities. The children were really good at looking out for each other and ensuring all were involved in the thought process, even though it has rained since we have arrived.
After dinner, the children broke off into small groups and have taken part in photo orienteering.
I have been impressed with the leadership shown so far and hope this continues for the rest of the week.
