Our eldest (Year 5 / 6) children work alongside each-other in Oak class. They are given many opportunities to develop work projects independently within a guided framework and to apply their skills to new challenges. Children are encouraged to question and explore and to experiment in their learning. Projects enable children to draw different types of information together and to present to a range of audiences.
We have a high expectation of our children and encourage a respect for high standards, always striving to do our best. Learners are involved in planning their next steps and articulating their strengths and weaknesses. A range of responsibilities across school contribute towards high levels of self-esteem and to understanding the importance of team spirit and helping others in our community.
